The Elder's Care Team assist Elders in their quest for wellness;
Conduct Spa Trips for Elders;
Conduct Swing dance activities for elders;
The Elder's Team ministers to the elders who are sick and shut-in (Elder Request Form)
Assist families when elders are in transition to the next life (End of Life Form);
Assistance to help family move through the grieving process;
Coordinate Grandparent's Day Celebration & Fundraiser,  September 12, 2010

ELDERS ARE TRULY A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND A GIFT TO MAN/WOMANKIND.  ELDERCARE TEAM IS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE IN BRINGING COMFORT TO AGING ELDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

 
Fees for services are negotiable with the Elder Care Team.

8-WEEK ELDER CARE CERTIFICATION
5:30p - 8:00p
5:30PM – On Site Meal (included with paid fee)
     6:00PM - 7:45PM Session
     7:45PM - 8:00PM:  Review, Announcements, Closing

Certification will be made for those who have completed 8 classes, earned passing exam grade & entered into a Community Service Agreement.

1. "Aging in Place" models
2. Assessments; routine vs unusual events; input & output
3. Elder Care Plans; team building
4. Wellness Works (Nutritional Remedies, Juicing, Dancing, Upper body
    massage, Gardening)
5. Exam
6. Community Service Agreements – site visit
7. End of Life
8. Certification & Closing Celebration
